Details: The low-level professional chlorine (Cl₂) gas detector offers a 0–10 ppm range with 0.01 ppm resolution, making it ideal for low-level OSHA compliance alarming. Factory-calibrated and ready to use, it continuously monitors chlorine gas concentrations in industrial environments where the gas is commonly used for water treatment, disinfection, and chemical manufacturing. While chlorine is highly effective as a sanitizing and bleaching agent, improper exposure poses serious risks — including severe respiratory irritation, pulmonary damage, and potential chemical hazards. This advanced detector provides reliable, real-time protection, ensuring worker safety and regulatory compliance wherever chlorine gas is present. NIOSH exposure limits are set with a maximum ceiling (15-minute exposure) of 0.5 ppm. OSHA permissible exposure level is set at 1 ppm. If you don't need such high resolution, the FD-600-CL2 is an alternative with a built-in pump, making it the best candidate for point sampling and leak detection.
