Details: Best-in-class, professional OZONE (O3) gas detector by FORENSICS has advanced features, a wide range of functions, and the highest-quality electrochemical sensor. Comes factory-calibrated. The detection range of O3 is 0 - 20 ppm within 30 seconds, with an accuracy of < +/- 5% full scale. The detector has a DC 3.7 V Li battery (1500 mAh) that allows > 24 hours of continuous use. Advanced features such as temperature detection, alarm recording, alarm setting, time, backlight, high-resolution LCD, calibration features, and others are all included. Although ozone gas is used in many applications as a "sanitizing" agent, too much can be harmful. Ozone is a reactive gas and a well-documented air pollutant and irritant. The NIOSH immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) ozone level is set to 5 ppm or higher. Please note that ozone is a unique gas and cannot be calibrated with a calibration gas bottle setup like most gases. Order our ozone calibration service, which must be performed in our laboratory using specialized, calibrated equipment for ozone gas detector calibration. Please note that detecting ozone is not easy. It is a special gas. It degrades; it is heavy and sticky. Review our best practices guide to ozone measurements.

An alternative is the FD-600-O3, which does have a built-in pump, making it the best candidate for point sampling and leak detection.

Included: Ozone gas detector, belt clip, sling, user manual, USB charging cable, calibration cover, and certified calibration certificate.

Calibration Options:
1. Professional Calibration: Serviced by Forensics

Calibration Kit:
No ozone calibration gas kits exist for ozone since ozone gas must be generated in a special lab. We recommend using our calibration service to calibrate your ozone detector and using our ozone bump tester to validate operation via bump testing.

Accessories (DIY sold separately):
