Details: This is our most advanced VOC analyzer using a laboratory-grade Photoionization Detector (PID) powered by a Baseline piD-TECH® eVxTM photoioniza- tion sensor employing a 10.6 eV UV lamp. Unlike conventional electrochemical sensors, PID technology delivers near-instantaneous response times, sub-ppm sensitivity, and continuous repeatability (but is more expensive!). Operating as the true workhorse for general VOCs, the 10.6 eV PID detects broad-spectrum volatile organic compounds, including BTEX, industrial solvents, and fuels, while remaining completely blind to common atmospheric gases such as N2, O2, CO2, H2O, CH4, making it superior for zero false alarms from ambient air or humidity shifts. The analyzer has a large VOC library to select from and automatically applies correction factors to the displayed readings.
The built-in data logging function records directly to an internal 512MB memory card capable of storing up to 1,000,000 logs—equivalent to 277 hours at a 1 sample/sec rate. Offloading data is seamless: simply connect the unit to a computer using a Type-C USB cable to view the logged .CSV files just like an external flash drive, with no extra proprietary software required. The files import directly into Excel for rapid graphing, trending, and manipulation. For continuous multi-day logging, increase the sample interval, connect the analyzer to continuous cable power, and let it run unattended.
An integrated sampling pump ensures rapid sample draw, while the included 3-inch PTFE disk filter allows you to sample reliably with pinpoint accuracy. If basic spot checks without automated logging are all you require, consider more affordable VOC detectors.
