Due to formaldehyde's inherent chemical instability in compressed gas cylinders, accurate concentration maintenance cannot be guaranteed over time. Polymerization and decomposition reactions occur spontaneously under pressure, compromising analytical reliability and traceability. Consequently, we are discontinuing our HCHO gas cylinder product line. For formaldehyde detector calibration, we strongly recommend using a stable surrogate gas alternative. Please refer to your Forensics Detectors gas detector model specifications for compatible surrogate options that ensure consistent, traceable measurements and reliable instrument performance.
