This is our replacement ammonia gas sensor for Forensics Detectors' ammonia gas detector products. These are our NH3 sensors used as pin-to-pin replacement of the standard 4-series electrochemical sensors.
Instructions:
- Once replaced and installed in your gas detector or analyzer, please let it sit for 24 hours so the sensor can stabilize to your environment. This step is very important.
- Then undertake the appropriate zero and calibration. Please go to our Calibration Page (bottom) and follow the calibration videos pertaining to your model.
- Once calibrated your gas analyzer is ready for use.
An alternative is to send us your gas detector unit. Purchase the replacement gas sensor and the gas detector calibration service. Once received, we will replace the sensor for FREE and send the gas detector back to you with a new calibration certificate.
