Details: This is a professional alcohol gas detector. This gas detector is sensitive to alcohol gases such as methanol, ethanol, and isopropanol. Ethanol, methanol, and Isopropyl go by multiple different names. Ethanol goes by multiple names such as ethyl alcohol, drinking alcohol, grain alcohol, or alcohol. Methanol can also be called methyl alcohol or wood spirit. Different names for Isopropyl are isopropanol, 2-propanol, and IPA. Alcohol gas detection is important for protecting workers from the potential health and safety hazards associated with exposure to alcohol vapors, such as flammability and toxicity.
