Details: The FORENSICS professional chlorine (Cl₂) gas detector offers a 0–10 ppm range with 0.01 ppm resolution, making it ideal for low-level OSHA compliance alarming. Factory-calibrated and ready to use, it continuously monitors Cl₂ concentrations in industrial environments where the gas is commonly used for water treatment, disinfection, and chemical manufacturing. While chlorine is highly effective as a sanitizing and bleaching agent, improper exposure poses serious risks — including severe respiratory irritation, pulmonary damage, and potential chemical hazards. This advanced detector provides reliable, real-time protection, ensuring worker safety and regulatory compliance wherever chlorine gas is present. NIOSH exposure limits are set with a maximum ceiling (15-minute exposure) of 0.5 ppm. OSHA permissible exposure level is set at 1 ppm.
